Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for working across the full primary age range? Do you thrive in a busy, nurturing school community where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to flourish? If so, we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Deputy Head Teacher to join our warm and committed team. As a village Church of England school, our Christian values shape our ethos, relationships, and aspirations. We are looking for someone who will embrace and model these values, supporting our children to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

What we're looking for
• A proven, enthusiastic leader with experience across the full primary age range, from EYFS to Year 6.
• A strategic thinker who can support whole school improvement with clarity, compassion, and ambition.
• A skilled practitioner who leads by example and inspires others through high expectations and a commitment to excellence.
• Someone with EYFS expertise or a strong interest in developing this area - this is a current school priority and an exciting opportunity for impact.
• A collaborative colleague who values teamwork, communication, and positive relationships with staff, pupils, families, and the wider community.
• A leader who is excited by the energy of a busy, caring village school, and who can balance strategic leadership with hands on involvement.

What we can offer
• A welcoming, supportive staff team who care deeply about our children and each other.
• Happy, enthusiastic pupils who love learning and are proud of their school.
• A strong Christian ethos that underpins everything we do.
• Opportunities to shape whole school development and lead meaningful change.
• A committed governing body and engaged parent community.
• A beautiful village setting with a strong sense of belonging.
• A genuine focus on staff wellbeing, including a gift day once a year to recognise and appreciate the hard work of our team.

We warmly encourage visits - come and see our school in action and meet the children and staff who make it such a special place.
