Post: Midday Assistant
Hours: 10 hours per week (11:30am-1:30pm Monday to Friday) (39 weeks per year)
Salary: Scale 2 (FTE £24,795.90-£25,185.00 Actual salary £5,745.33-£5,835.48)
Start date: as soon as possible after 05/01/2026, once safeguarding and pre-employment checks have been completed.
Location: Rolph Church of England Primary School
We are looking for a new Midday Assistant to join our fantastic lunchtime team at Rolph.
Our children are looking for an MDA who enjoys spending time with them, is able to supervise and organise games at lunchtime, can help them in the hall with their meals and who will ensure that lunchtimes are safe and happy for everyone.
Your role will also be to support the existing Catering Assistant set up ready for serving and you will also be involved in clearing up, ensuring that the kitchen is left clean and tidy and ready for the next day.
You do not need previous experience as training will be given as well as ongoing professional development. What you do need, is a passion to support children and the ability to work well as part of a team.
The successful candidate will:

· A patient and positive attitude, along with a good sense of humour.
