Monday - Friday 3:20pm-5:30pm - term time only - 38 weeks per year

We are inviting applications for the post of After School Club Assistant, to commence as soon as possible to work in our After School Club wraparound care provision in this happy, well-resourced school, rated 'Good' in all areas.

This post is to work as part of a small team maintaining a safe, warm and caring environment for the children to relax in, and have fun after a hard school day. Responsibilities are to ensure that children are kept happy by engaging them in fun and exciting activities whilst inspiring a friendly, familiar and playful atmosphere. The role includes routine administration tasks with regards to pupil attendance, liaising with school staff and parents to ensure a high level of pastoral care is given, preparing and serving snacks.

We are looking for a someone who:

Has experience working with primary/early years children.

Displays a caring attitude towards pupils to ensure their wellbeing.

Is flexible and willing to adapt at short notice.

Is positive and warm and friendly with children, parents and colleagues.

Is enthusiastic, reliable, energetic and hardworking.

Is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of our children.
