We seek a dynamic, inspirational, dedicated and kind Head Teacher who believes in providing the very best education for all children to lead Old Health Community School into a bright and exciting future. The ideal candidate will value positive relationships with children, staffand the wider community.
We would like the Head Teacher to build on standards, continue successes and uphold the values of the Old Health Heart. Our oversubscribed school offers a supportive and inclusive environment with a range of opportunities for our children in order that they may aspire to and reach their potential. The successful candidate will:
- have a proven track record in raising and sustaining the quality of teaching and children's attainment
- be passionate about ensuring that all children have the opportunity to develop their potential in all aspects of their lives
- support the professional development of our staff in order that they may continue to raise their aspirations and achievements
- be able to lead, inspire and motivate staff in order to sustain our already strong leadership and management team
- continue to build upon our relationship with parents, carers, the school community generally and especially the wider local community with which we are deeply involved

Information about the School
Old Heath Community Primary School is a popular one form entry primary school on the outskirts of Colchester town centre. We are a happy school with very hard working, polite and smiley children who love to have fun too! The same can be said for the adults!!
