Carousel Day Nursery & Pre-school is looking to hire a qualified Level 2 nursery practitioner, preferably on a part-time basis for 3 days per week, although full time will be considered.
The successful applicant will join a happy, kind and enthusiastic team and will share a genuine love of working with young children, aged from 3 months to 5 years.
Our nursery is a family run business with a focus on providing a home-from-home environment for the children we care for. The successful applicant would work across all rooms of the nursery, caring for, supporting and educating the children. Working in a small nursery gives all of our team members the opportunity to truly get to know all of the children and form strong bonds with them. The successful applicant will work alongside room leaders and assistants, and would be directed by room leaders and the nursery deputy manager & manager.
We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic and hard working person who is committed to working in the childcare sector. The candidate must be caring and have a genuine love of children, as well as an interest in the children's development and education.
Information about the School
We are a small, private day nursery and pre-school based in Billericay. We are a family business that has been established for 28 years and we boast a very good reputation in the local area.
There are approximately 30 children in the nursery each day. We are open from 7am until 7pm. We are located in a quiet residential area that is within walking distance from Billericay station, on a bus route and where there is free parking available.
We have four teaching rooms and care for children aged from 3 months to 5 years. We employ 12 members of staff who we value greatly and we consider our nursery to be a happy, professional environment to work in. At our last Ofsted inspection we were awarded a high-end Good rating and are always striving to improve our practice.
