Pre-School Assistant

Ducklings are seeking a kind, positive and caring individual to be a part of our Pre-School team as a member of our flexible Bank Staff. This role is to work ad-hoc, various hours to support the existing staff team, according to the needs of the children and overall setting.

Ducklings Pre-School is a term time only setting, open for 38 weeks of the year.

Our working hours for a full day are 8.30am - 4pm. Hours requested for this role may be for the whole day or be for part of a day, within those hours, on various days (not a set working pattern).

Information about the School

Ducklings pre-school is committee-owned and managed. It was established September 1995 and operates from a hall located at the back of the Great Notley Community centre in Great Notley. The hall has a separate entrance which can be accessed through a gate down the left hand side of the building, with a ramp leading up to the entrance. It has a secure, enclosed outdoor play area which is used for outdoor activities. A maximum of 20 children aged from two to five years may attend the setting at any one time. The pre-school is open five days a week, term time only, the morning session running from 09.00 to 12.00 and the afternoon session from 12.30 to 15.30, we also offer all day sessions from 9.00 to 15.30 and the children bring in a lunch box from home, we operate 38 weeks of the year. There are currently 40 children attending Ducklings pre-school who are within the Early Years Foundation Stage years.
