Trinity St Mary's C of E Primary School is a fantastic one form entry primary school in the heart of South Woodham Ferrers. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, friendly, caring and effective Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our school on a relief basis to cover classes in the absence of the class teacher. Higher Level Teaching Assistants work under the professional direction of a teacher and within an agreed system of supervision.

The successful candidate will:

· Hold HLTA status

· Have proven experience working as an HLTA or in a similar teaching support role

· Deliver high quality teaching and learning across the school from Reception to Year 6

· Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and productive learning environment

· Be able to work as part of a team

· Have a strong knowledge of primary school curriculum and effective teaching strategies

· Ability to support children with diverse needs, including SEND

· A positive, professional and proactive attitude towards supporting children's learning

· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Have empathy towards working in a school with Christian distinctiveness
