Catering Manager - Permanent
Scale 5 Pt. 9-12
20 Hours per week - Monday to Friday
9.30am to 1.30pm
Term time only
St Joseph's Catholic Primary School are looking for an experienced Catering Manager to join our happy school where every child is cherished.
The Catering Manager will be responsible for:
• Cooking healthy, nutritious meals for children and staff.
• Stock taking, ordering and menu planning.
• Costing menus to meet budget restrictions
• Managing the catering team
We are looking for a person who
• Is organised and calm under pressure.
• Is friendly and personable with all members of the school community and has a good sense of humour.
• Is confident working under their own initiative.
• Has catering management experience.
• Has the best interests of the pupils at the heart of what they do.
A level 3 award in supervising food safety is essential for the role but support in obtaining this will be available from our school if not already held.
St Joseph's is a small school of just 114 pupils and our Catholic ethos permeates everything we do. Children and staff comment on how supportive and caring the whole school community is.
