Lift Westerings Primary, a popular school celebrated for its innovative teaching methods and beautiful woodland setting adjacent to Hockley Woods, is looking for a Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team and help make lunchtimes a safe, positive and enjoyable part of the school day.

As a Midday Supervisor you will:

  • Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground and other common areas.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and respectful interactions in line with our behaviour policy.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents, promoting pupil welfare at all times.
  • Support the organisation of lunchtime activities and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

What we're looking for:

  • Patience, empathy and the ability to relate well to children.
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience of supervising or caring for children (either in a school environment or as a parent/carer).
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
