Nursery Assistant
Term Time Only - 27.5 Hours per Week
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 12.15pm - 5.45pm
Salary: Level 3, SCP 5 - Actual Salary: £15,866.32 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our supportive, nurturing, and aspirational school community. Are you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Assistant committed to helping children thrive in their early years education?
We are seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our new school-based nursery from January 2026. You will work alongside the Nursery Teacher and Nursery Practitioners as part of the Early Years team, supporting the daily care and development of our children.
Main Responsibilities:
Support the Nursery Teacher and Nursery Practitioners in delivering a high-quality early years provision.
Care for and oversee the welfare of an allocated group of children.
Promote the social, emotional, and educational development of all children in line with the Statutory Framework and school policies.
Candidate Requirements:
Recent experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
A good general standard of education.
A positive, nurturing approach and commitment to high standards.
