Midday Assistants
Monday to Friday during term time (38 weeks)
We are looking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable person to join our midday team. The successful candidate will enjoy working with children and being part of a team in a Christian setting and contribute to this ethos and the wider school life.
We have two vacancies:
· Working in our lunch club setting, 7.5 hours per week
· Working with a 1:1 child (Mondays) and with a group of SEN children (Wednesdays), 2.25 hours per week. The Monday role is likely to grow to other days.
Our Midday Assistants create a positive happy and secure environment in our playground, dining hall and the school building at lunchtime.
Duties will include:
• supervising children in the lunch hall, classrooms and the playground
• leading games with the children
• encouraging healthy eating
• administering first aid if required, once trained
• interacting with children to encourage good social skills
•setting up the dinner hall furniture, cleaning tables etc
