Librarian

Required as soon as possible

35 hours per week, 8.30am-4.00pm Monday-Friday, 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)

Salary: LGPS 4 points 7-8 - £21,412-£21,753 per annum actual annual salary (£26,403-£26,824 FTE)

An exciting opportunity has arisen in one of the country's leading selective schools, (awarded The Sunday Times Parent Power East Anglia State Secondary School of the Decade and The Sunday Times State Secondary School of the Year For Academic Excellence East Anglia 2025). We are seeking a professional Librarian who is enthusiastic, energetic and willing to play their role in the Library to the full.

The successful applicant will be a team player with a passion for books and reading, preferably with previous school library experience, who is able to relate well to students in order to enthuse them and make our Library a stimulating learning environment. They should also be creative with library initiatives and events.

Boys 11-18, on roll approx. 1012 students of which 400 in the sixth form, 30 boarders
