Classroom Teacher (KS2)
Salary - MPS + Fringe Location: St Teresa's Catholic Primary, Basildon, Essex
Starting: January 5th 2026
Flexibility:
A later start (February or early March 2026) could be considered for the right candidate.
A part time (4 day a week) role could be considered for the right candidate.
The Christus Catholic Trust and the Local Governing Committee of this caring and successful school, wish to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working and inspirational teacher to join our welcoming and dedicated staff team at St Teresa's Primary School. Preferably, we are looking at hiring a teacher with middle leadership aspirations or experience. This is a full-time, fixed term position which will conclude at the end of August 2025.

St Teresa's Catholic Primary is located in Basildon and is part of a multi academy trust (The Christus Catholic Trust), which currently has 7 primary schools. St Teresa's is a single form entry located in the heart of a diverse community. The latest Ofsted Inspection rates us as a 'good' school.
St Teresa's Catholic Primary School and The Christus Catholic Trust are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and other pre-employment checks. You are required, before appointment, to disclose any unspent conviction, cautions, reprimands or warnings under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975.
