Philip Morant School and College was judged as "Good" in all areas by Ofsted in September 2023. We are looking for an Administrator for Admin/Reception who can be a key part in our ongoing improvement journey.

Our main office is the first place visitors and parents experience as they enter our school. It is busy yet we demonstrate our vision and values as we welcome and seek to support everyone.

A key part of this role will be supporting the administration of our many trips and events. This requires a strong attention to detail and skills to deal with many enquiries, chase up payments and confirmation and ensure our robust procedures are all in place for every trip.

If you are not already first aid qualified we will provide first aid training so you can provide back up support to our regular medical staff.

  • The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week (8am - 4pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am - 3:30pm on a Friday)
  • This is a 41-week-per-year role, which includes term time, non-pupil days, and an additional 2 weeks during school closure periods.

A Day in the Life:

You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:

  • Assisting with enquiries by phone or in personEnsuring all safeguarding checks have been completed on all visitors who enter the school
  • Supporting the administration of trips including collecting payments, dealing with enquiries, producing trip packs.
