Fixed Term - Administration Assistant
Required - 4th November 2025 to 31st August 2026 with view to extend.
20hrs Per Week - Pattern of working week Monday to Friday mornings 08.30-12.30. 38 weeks per year (Term time)
Scale 3 (Points 5) - £11,589 per annum
We are looking for an experienced Administration Assistant to work in partnership with our existing admin team to provide an efficient and effective service for the school.
You will need to be an enthusiastic, flexible, friendly and reliable person to ensure the smooth running of the school's procedures. You will be contributing to operational processes including:
· HR and general office admin;
· maintaining the school's filing systems, ensuring it is kept up to date;
· dealing with telephone enquiries and visitors;
· processing purchase orders and invoices;
· developing knowledge of the MIS system, including supporting the team in running reports and analysing data;
· placing orders with suppliers for goods and services.
The successful candidate will have:
· experience of school systems;
· knowledge of Arbor MIS, Arbor Finance, Excel;
· proven administrative and organisational skills;
· excellent IT skills;
· excellent interpersonal skills;
· the ability to remain calm and solution focussed in difficult situations.

You will be reporting to our School Business Manager.
You will need to be able to multi-task, work efficiently and under pressure with a willingness to contribute to improving outcomes for our children and continued improvement for the school.
