We have an exciting opportunity at Yellow Brick Rd Nursery Ramsey for a Setting Manager role.

Based in Ramsey war memorial hall, with 2 outside spaces.

We are a term time only setting open 38 weeks of the year with option to run holiday clubs at the managers descretion, a unique provision tailoring the children and families at the centre of everything we do, find us on social media "yellow brick rd nursery harwich and ramsey" or visit our websitewww.yellowbrickroadnursery.co.uk to learn more about who we are.

We are looking for somebody to manage a setting of a maximum 24 places a day ages 2-4 years and a small team of 5 in total full job description can be given upon application and full training and support would be given by our leadership team and area managers, duties and expectations will include but not exhaustive of:

• Having excellent leadership skills
• Be approachable and understanding to staff and families.
• Have extensive knowledge of the early years framework and actively able to put into practice.
• Hold at least a level 3 recgonised and relevant early years qualification.
• First aid preferred but can be put forward for training of needed.
• able to communicate effectively with parents, staff, children and outside agenices and remain within proffesional boundaries.
• Have good IT skills and able to manage admin roles with the support from leadership team.
• Be refelctive in the setting and practice and make changes to keep the environment exciting and engaging with a monthly budget.
• Able to support staff in embedding our curriculum and plan weekly and daily intent for the children based on their interests and next steps.
• Manage a small team of 5 including the deputy manager and support thier proffesional development through supervisions and appraisals.
• Be nurturing, kind and have a good understanding of how to meet all children's needs including SEND and EAL.

"a setting is not defined by one person it takes a whole team" our managers get full support from the leadership team and include weekly visits and meetings regularly as well as termly supervisions for continual proffesional development.

Our setting managers are paid an annual salary, with holiday pay included and receive an additional paid 3 well being days per year. Admin and working from home days set to be agreed with the leadership team for cover also inlcuded.

Working hours would be 8-4:30 monday to friday
