Contract Type: Part-time, permanent
Hours per Week:25.4 hours per week across four days (with some flexibility on start and finish times and working days, these will be negotiated with the successful candidate and explored at interview)
Working weeks: Term time only, to include 5 INSET days
Salary Scale: LGS Scale 3 (points 5-6)
Salary: Actual salary range: £15,191 to £15,432per annum
Hourly rate: £13.64 to £13.85
Full-time equivalent salary: £25,583 to £25,989 pa
Start date: This position is ideally for an immediate start, although a later start date would be considered for the right candidate.
Sunnymede Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly organised, reliable and proactive Finance and Personnel Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a thriving school community where your work will directly support the education and wellbeing of our pupils.
You will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day financial and HR operations of the school. Reporting to the School Business Manager, key responsibilities will include:
· Processing orders, invoices, and payments
· Maintaining accurate personnel records
· Managing staff absence data
· Assisting the front office as required
· Administering first aid to pupils
· General administrative duties as required
We are looking for someone who:
· Has experience in finance and/or HR administration (school experience desirable but not essential)
· Is confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
· Is highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
· Is pro-active, can work independently and as part of a team
· Always maintains confidentiality and professionalism
· Has a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
· Has a sense of humour and likes children!
