School Cleaner


We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our dedicated cleaning team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors at Chalkwell Hall Infants School.


About the Role:


Job Title: School Cleaner
Hours: 5 hours per week (5:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only)
Additional Week: Includes one additional week during the August holidays for a full school deep clean
Contract: Permanent
Pay: £13.05 per hour (Level 2, SCP 4)

Key Responsibilities:


General cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and surface cleaning
Sanitising washroom facilities, sinks, tables, chairs, and other high-contact areas
Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness standards are consistently met

About You:


Reliable, punctual, and take pride in a job well done
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided
