About the Role
Hare Street Community Primary School is looking to appoint two enthusiastic and caring SEND Learning Support Assistants to join our inclusive and friendly team.
In this role, you will:
· Provide targeted support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in class and in small-group or 1:1 settings
· Work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to deliver personalised learning and care plans
· Help create a positive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally

What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals who can demonstrate:
· Relevant experience supporting children with SEND in a school or childcare setting (voluntary or paid)
· An understanding of a range of additional needs, such as autism, speech and language difficulties, or social/emotional needs
· Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
· A collaborative approach, with the flexibility to adapt to pupils' changing needs
Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Level 2/3) are desirable but not essential.
