SEN Midday Assistant required as soon as possible

We are looking to appoint a member of staff to work with a child at lunchtime, who is currently in year 2. The child has an ADHD and ASD diagnonsis.

What we are looking for:

· A patient, empathetic and proactive approach to supporting children with SEND.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the child and staff.

This post is from 12:00 to 13:15 Monday to Friday term time only.

Fixed Term SEN Learning Support Assistant

Required as soon as possible to August 2030

1:15pm to 3:15pm Monday to Friday (10 hours per week)

Term Time Only, Scale 3 point 5 to 6

The 10 hour post is to work with an existing child, currently in year 2. This child has an ADHD and ASD diagnosis.

What we are looking for:

· A patient, empathetic and proactive approach to supporting children with SEND.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the child and staff.

You will work closely with the class teacher to support learning in line with the national curriculum and the specific parts of the pupil's SEND plan. You will also take into account the school's policies and procedures.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
