Job title: Special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO)
Salary: Main or Upper Pay Scales (dependent on experience) plus SEN allowance (£2787, pro-rata)
Hours: 0.4 FTE (to include Fridays and one other day / day equivalent)
Contract type: Part-time; permanent
Reporting to: Headteacher
Responsible for: LSAs, HLTAs and Inclusion Manager
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and motivated teacher to join our successful school as the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator. This is a superb opportunity to play a significant role in shaping the strategic direction of our SEND provision, ensuring all pupils receive the education, care, and opportunities they need to thrive. We are looking for applicants who will bring vision and expertise to the role and have experience supporting pupils with a diverse range of needs. A strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice is essential.

Applicants must:
already hold the NASENCO qualification; or
already hold the SENCO National Professional Qualification; or
be willing to complete the SENCO NPQ within three years of appointment.
