Contract: Fixed Term until 31/08/2029
Hours: 14 hours per week (Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 12:00pm)
Scale: Scale 3 Point 5
Actual Salary: £8,076 per annum

Chipping Hill Primary School is looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant who demonstrates a caring, enthusiastic and proactive attitude. We are looking for someone who has experience of working with children who have SEN and recognises the range of strategies needed to provide tailored support to enable children to access the curriculum. They should thrive when working with children and possess excellent communication skills. We are looking for an excellent team player who wants to join our experienced, supportive and talented staff. At Chipping Hill Primary School, we aim to support all of our employees through various training opportunities. We have a committed leadership team who have high expectations of all pupils, with the aim that all pupils will leave our school 'Secondary ready'.
It is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate the following:
- Excellent English and Maths skills at a minimum of GCSE Grade C (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children as a Learning Support Assistant in a previous setting.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of the varying needs of pupils, particular experience working with pupils with Autism and/or ADHD.
- An understanding of TPP (Trauma Perceptive Practice) and how this is essential to supporting children to flourish.
- Able to engage well with pupils and work under your own initiative.
- Excellent time management skills.
- An understanding of the importance of safeguarding all children.
