William Edwards School are seeking a reliable Site Assistant with initiative and self-motivation to join our Site Services Team in supporting the needs of our school. The successful candidate will have experience of general premises, grounds-keeping and caretaking duties.

The shifts will include some early starts, late finishes 6.00am to 2.00pm and 2.00pm to 10.00pm

37 hours per week

Additional weekend work cover on a rota basis.

We are looking for candidates with any of the following:

  • A background in grounds maintenance
  • A combination of these skills would be an advantage: electrical, plumbing, gardening, carpentry and decoration.
  • Site-team/caretaking/facilities experience, ideally in a school setting
  • Health & Safety-related buildings knowledge/training
  • A hard-working approach, being resilient, flexible, reliable, and able to respond positively to competing demands
  • An adaptable, professional and confident team player
