SEND Administrative Assistant
Salary: Thurrock Band A Point 1 - 6
(Actual - £15,241.63 - £16,313.59 per annum)
27 hours 30 minutes per week
Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
37 weeks of the year - term time only
Start Date: 3rd November 2025
Are you highly organised, approachable, and committed to supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking a SEND Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our SENDCo, supporting students, families, and external professionals. The role involves a wide range of administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and supporting with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and annual reviews. You will also play a key role in liaising with parents, carers, and outside agencies, ensuring smooth communication and professional representation of the school.
What we are looking for:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Confidence in using IT systems (training provided where needed).
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to prioritise effectively.

East Tilbury Primary School & Nursery converted to Academy Status in April 2012 as a partner in St Cleres Co-operative Academy Trust. We are a three/four form entry school in a semi-rural location, only a 5 minute walk from East Tilbury Station which is on the C2C Fenchurch - Shoeburyness Line. .
