PE Technician
Required: September 2025

20 hours per week - 38.2 weeks per year

Term Time Only plus 1 inset day and up to an additional 20 hours throughout the academic year to support PE fixtures where required (to be paid as overtime).

Monday to Friday 9:00am - 1:00pm

Scale 4 point 6 (Range 6-7) - Actual salary £11,910.48

The post holder will be required to provide support to a busy and successful PE department and must be friendly, flexible and enthusiastic with excellent organisational, communication and IT skills. A first aid qualification, minibus driving licence and an understanding of Health and Safety are desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.

Information about the School

St Martin's is a large co-educational comprehensive school located in Hutton, Brentwood. The school benefits from a pleasant semi-rural environment with agricultural land to the rear. The school, which also includes a large sixth form block, is situated on an open, attractive 30 acre site. Parking is available on-site and there are good transport links by both rail and bus. Hutton is five miles from the M25 and 19 miles from London, which is easily reached by road or train (25 minutes to Liverpool Street Station).
