We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for at least two terms, Autumn 2025 and Spring 2026. There is the possibility that a permanent LSA role may become available. The role will focus on meeting the needs of a child with Special Educational Needs. The needs of the child relate to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and personal care. The successful candidate will become part of our friendly and hard-working team which is dedicated to ensuring our children learn well and are well cared for.
· Scale 3, points 5-6 £24,790 - £25,183 which is £12.85 - £13.05 per hour.
· Full time, 39 weeks, 33 hours and 55 minutes per week.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:20am- 3:20pm (with 30 mins lunch break)
Wednesday: 8:20am to 4:45pm (with 30 mins lunch break)
Please note that on Wednesday the end time is 4.45pm. This is to enable attendance at our weekly School Improvement Meeting, with all other teachers and Learning Support Assistants.

Ours is a rural location just twenty minutes from Colchester and ten minutes from Clacton. We are an academy with the Vine Schools Trust and so have the support of the trust and of the diocese. We also have training and other support in place for the successful applicant.
