5 hours per week (12.15pm - 1.15pm) , 39 weeks per year

Immediate Start

Ashingdon Primary Academy is looking for a Midday Supervisor to join their academy. This role is critical in ensuring the safety, welfare and positive behaviour of students during before-school wraparound provision times. You will supervise students in early morning play, activities and breakfast preparation, playgrounds and other designated areas within the school premises to create a safe and enjoyable experience for the start of their day.

Information about the School

Lift Ashingdon is a primary school with 209 pupils, offering places from Reception through to Year 6. Children join us mainly from the villages of Ashingdon and South Fambridge, as well as from parts of Canewdon, Hockley, Rochford and Hullbridge.

Our school is set on a large, attractive site in open, green-belt countryside. We are fortunate to have a quiet wildlife and sensory garden, a spacious playground and a large playing field. Inside, we offer welcoming and engaging classrooms, a well-stocked library, and dedicated learning support areas for small group work. We also provide daily breakfast and after-school care in The Hive.

For our youngest pupils, we have an inviting outdoor learning space where Reception children learn through play in their first year at school. This complements our engaging and nurturing indoor Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision.

We deliver learning across the three key stages:

Foundation Stage – Reception

Key Stage 1 (KS1) – Years 1 and 2

Key Stage 2 (KS2) – Years 3 to 6
