Job Description

Scale 3 /4 depending on experience.

Hours are 8.00 a.m.- 3.30 p.m daily (32.5 hours per week), term time only.

We are looking for a pre-school assistant to join our existing team, who are preferably qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3, but we would consider level 2 for the right candidate.

Staff will be required to work flexible hours to meet the needs of our pre-school.

We are looking for child focused staff that enjoy supporting children to explore and develop their understanding of the world around them through play.

A successful candidate will have a firm understanding of the early year's framework, be innovative and confident working with a child-centred approach, will be a team player and will want to make a difference by supporting the children so they can achieve their full potential. We are looking for an individual who is nurturing, caring and passionate about early education. You will be expected to complete regular observations on your key children and hold parent meetings/updates on their child/s progress.
