Catering Manager at Grove House School, Part of the SEAX Multi-Academy Trust

Scale 6Point 13 - 17, Actual Salary from £18,504

Required1st September 2025

27 hours per week: 8.45am until 2.15pm, Monday to Thursday, 9.15am until 2.15pm Friday

40 working weeks per year (38 weeks during term time, 5 INSET training days, 1 week in the summer holidays.)

Grove House is a special school for pupils aged 8-19 with speech, language and communication needs. We are looking to recruit an experienced person to manage our in-house school meals service. We want to provide our pupils with the best possible provision in all aspects.

Candidates will ideally have some experience of a similar environment although for the right person we are committed to providing full training and support - your attitude to work, passion for food and a fondness for children is equally as important to us.

The Catering Manager will be required to supervise the Assistant Cook, manage a budget, plan and develop menus that meet the required standards, and promote school meals to parents and pupils.
