About the Role:

As a Class Teacher at Long Ridings Primary School you will:

• Deliver creative, engaging, and high-quality lessons that inspire children to love learning.
• Create a classroom environment that supports learning and encourages children to achieve their best.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to foster a strong learning community.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.

Long Ridings Primary School, a popular and thriving two-form entry primary school with 388 pupils. It is a great place to work. The school follows a thematic approach to teaching with half termly opportunities to celebrate our learning. We serve a mixed socio-economic area of Hutton and Shenfield, near Brentwood. Our last Ofsted inspection was in March 2019: rated Good. We are closely involved in Teacher Training as part of the Essex and Thames SCITT - We recruit, train and retain the very best staff. We work closely with other local schools and are outward looking in terms of school development. Our staff are passionate, driven, ambitious and very dedicated. We also believe in a good work-life balance and have time limits on staff meetings.
