SCHOOL GOVERNOR VACANCY

Could you 'give something back' to the young people in our local area?

The Governors at Stanway Primary School would like to invite members of our surrounding community to apply to join our Governing Body.

We are a friendly and aspirational school aiming to give every child the best education and start in life. You would be joining a well-established, friendly board focused on keeping our pupils at the heart of all our decisions.

Governors make up one of the largest volunteer forces across the country and play an extremely important role in schools. Effective governance is crucial in maintaining the quality of leadership and management, and student attainment. Whilst Governance can be challenging, it is extremely rewarding!

We are looking to recruit a co-opted governor who needs to be passionate about the education of young people or perhaps is looking for a way to give back to the community. You do not need experience in education or be linked to the school in any way - in fact we hugely value diversity of thought and experience outside of an education setting.
