Are you passionate about helping young people achieve their best both in the classroom and through sport? We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Learning Support Assistant with a focus on sports coaching to join our dedicated team. This exciting and varied role involves supporting children with their learning in the mornings and delivering a vibrant, inspiring sports programme in the afternoons. If you have a love of working with children, strong communication and organisational skills, and a drive to promote sport and physical activity, we would love to hear from you. Learning Support Assistant (Sport Focus)

Hours:

8:30am - 12:00pm (classroom LSA support, unpaid 15-min break)
12:00pm - 3:15pm (sports coaching and PE support)
About the Role:

Support children's learning in core subjects each morning
Deliver and support inspiring PE lessons in the afternoons
Lead lunchtime and after-school sports clubs (after-school clubs paid separately, negotiable at interview)
Organise and attend sporting events, write risk assessments, liaise with schools, parents and coaches
Act as the lead adult when taking children to and from sporting events
We are looking for someone who:

Is passionate about working with young people and promoting sport
Has strong organisational and ICT skills
Holds minimum GCSE English and Maths at Grade B/7 or above
Has relevant coaching qualifications (football, netball, hockey, cricket, dance, etc.)
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.

Information about the School

Riverside Primary School, situated 500m from the River Crouch, opened in September 2010 when the Infant and Junior schools amalgamated.
