Catering Assistant
(Maternity Cover)
Post commences as soon as possible
St Cedd's School is seeking to appoint a reliable and conscientious Catering Assistant to join our catering team on a nine month contract to provide maternity cover until December 2025. This is a hands-on role involving all aspects of the lunchtime activities. Duties include food preparation, serving pupils and staff, washing up and cleaning the kitchen. The successful candidate will be flexible, with a good work ethic and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to work under pressure, have an eye for detail, take pride in your work and have a "can do" attitude.
A working knowledge of Health and Safety measures is required and prior experience of working in a kitchen is desirable.
Hours: 15 hours/week from 11:30 to 14:30 Monday to Thursday term time to the end of the Autumn Term 2025, with a 15-minute paid break each day.
Salary/Benefits: £12.30 per hour
