Midday Assistant
Market Field School, Elmstead Market
Pay Range: Scale 1 Point 2 - £23,656 p/a (£5,346 p/a actual)
Hours: 10 hours per week, 43.6 weeks per year (term time only), Monday - Friday, 12pm to 2pm
Contract Term: Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for our wonderful school as a Midday Assistant. We are seeking to appoint a friendly, hard-working and reliable person to join our valued Midday Team as soon as possible. Your primary role will be to maintain the safety, welfare, and good conduct of pupils during the lunch time break.
Duties include supervising and interacting with the children on the playground or in the dining hall. You will need to be able to work well as part of a team and demonstrate organisation, patience and understanding. Training, including basic first aid, will be provided. Market Field School and College has been enhancing the lives of students (and their families) with wide-ranging strengths and needs for over 40 years. We moved into a purpose built, specialist environment in 2015 and are fortunate to benefit from a suite of facilities to enrich the quality of provision for our students. With over 500 studentsand rising, we are one of the biggest special schools in Essex and each day is very different from the day before!
