Information about the School

At Lift Clacton, our vision is simple: to provide an excellent education for every child, in every classroom, every day. We want every student to leave us with the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed in life.

Our Mission

We are committed to:

  • Delivering high-quality teaching and learning that inspires students to achieve their very best.

  • Supporting students to grow as responsible, respectful and resilient individuals.

  • Creating a caring and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.

  • Working with families and the wider community to ensure that every student has the right opportunities to flourish.

To support this, we have three clear school expectations. At Lift Clacton, every student is encouraged to:

  • Be Responsible

  • Be Respectful

  • Be Ready

Our Values

At Lift Clacton, our values reflect our belief in a culture of excellence, care, and opportunity:

  • Excellence in learning – striving for the highest standards in everything we do.

  • Care and respect – treating everyone with kindness, fairness, and dignity.

Ambition for all – encouraging students to aim high and supporting them to achieve their goals.

Community and collaboration – working together with families, staff, and external partners to ensure the best outcomes for young people.

Through these values, we believe our students will achieve success, take pride in themselves, and develop the confidence to explore new opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.

Partnerships and Support

We place a strong emphasis on building positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies. By working together as a professional team, we ensure that our students’ academic, social, and emotional needs are fully supported both in and out of school.

We also recognise the importance of transition. We welcome prospective students to visit and learn in our school before admission, helping to ease concerns, answer questions, and make the move to secondary school as smooth as possible.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
