Join our team as an EYFS Teaching Assistant!

Are you a passionate and collaborative individual looking to make a difference? If so, we are looking for a EYFS Teaching Assistant to work alongside the teacher in our early years setting.

Your role:

  • To support children to access the curriculum and participate in learning, running activities with small groups of children;
  • To help children to experience a sense of achievement;
  • To monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff; and
  • To work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and parents/carers to ensure every child reaches their full potential;

Professional Development

At Lift Schools, we are committed to supporting professional growth and development. All new Teaching Assistants working 20 hours or more per week on a permanent contract will be automatically enrolled on a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship if they do not already hold this qualification. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain essential skills and knowledge through the 'Initial Teaching Assistant Training', ensuring you are fully equipped to succeed in your role and make a real difference in the lives of our pupils. Information about the School

Nestled in the heart of Ashingdon village, Lift Ashingdon is easily accessible from Rochford, Southend, Hockley, and Rayleigh. Welcoming approximately 210 students from Reception to Year 6, we serve families from Ashingdon, South Fambridge, Canewdon, Hockley, Rochford, and Hullbridge.

Our school benefits from a peaceful green belt countryside setting and offers seven well equipped classrooms, each fitted with an interactive whiteboard. Additional facilities include a library, a spacious hall, and a dedicated learning support area for small group activities.

Outdoors, pupils enjoy a large playground, a generous playing field, and much loved features such as the Jungle Gym and Trim Trail. A particular highlight is our very own heated swimming pool, which adds a splash of excitement to school life.
