TEACHING ASSISTANT REQUIRED ASAP

Scale 3, point 5 or 6 for the right person

26.30 HOURS PER WEEK - MONDAY TO FRIDAY

We are looking for a candidate who has experience with pupils who have additional needs and a passion for inclusion. The role would be specifically working with a pupil with high needs.

We want to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum; that their needs are met and all pupils make progress.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Be flexible and adaptable
• Have experience with pupils who have Autism and Social, Emotional, Mental Health issues (essential)
• Have an understanding that behaviour is a communication
• Have experience with Zones of Regulations
• A-C GCSE or equivalent in maths and English
• Be calm and positive with a supportive approach
• Previous experience supporting pupils with special educational needs
• Be willing to take on professional advice
