At Tendring Technology College, we teach Maths at KS3, KS4, and KS5. Our modern classrooms are equipped with ViewSonic whiteboards, providing interactive and engaging learning experiences for our students. Furthermore, the Maths department has its own dedicated block on the Frinton campus, conveniently located near our ICT suites.
We take pride in the rigorous intervention focus of our department. Our team is committed to providing targeted support to students who require additional assistance, ensuring their mathematical skills and understanding are strengthened.
We are proud to highlight our department's participation in national Maths competitions. We provide opportunities for students across multiple year groups to take part in the Junior Mathematical Challenge every academic year. This competition promotes mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems.
To support your professional development and career progression, we offer CPD opportunities. Additionally, we have access to AET resources, enabling our teachers to access a wealth of educational materials and best practices.
Tendring Technology College (TTC) i s a large, 11-19 mixed comprehensive academy. Information about the School
Lift Tendring is a large split-site comprehensive school for students aged 11–18, located across the pleasant village of Thorpe-le-Soken and the historic town of Frinton-on-Sea. Our rural and coastal setting provides a fantastic backdrop for our young people, while also offering easy access to Colchester and London.
Our Thorpe Campus, based in the village of Thorpe-le-Soken, serves students aged 11–14. Our Frinton Campus serves students aged 14–19. We welcome children from a wide area including Thorpe-le-Soken, Kirby-le-Soken, Kirby Cross, Great Holland, Little Clacton, Weeley, Tendring, Little Bentley, Wix, Beaumont, Great Oakley, Frinton-on-Sea, Walton-on-the-Naze, as well as from further afield such as Harwich, Alresford and Colchester.
