What experience and qualifications must I have to apply?
Requirements of a Room Leader
Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent (NVQ, Cache, C&YPW etc)
Enthusiasm and Self Motivation
Excellent team Worker
Able to lead the room and inspire the team
Able to maintain excellent team spirit
Ability to work on own initiative
Able to be sensitive to children's needs
A strong & workable knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development
Understanding of play based approach to children's learning and development
Knowledge of child protection procedures and safeguarding
Good communication skills both written and verbal
