Could you be our new school Caretaker?

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, flexible, and reliable person to act as caretaker for our friendly village school and take responsibility for keeping our school buildings and grounds presentable, compliant and fit for providing a high-quality education to our pupils. Previous experience in building management and general maintenance is desirable. We offer a positive and thriving school environment, a great team of staff and a commitment to continuing professional development. It is vital that the successful candidate has good people skills to manage the team effectively and to be able to relate well to children, interacting with them in a positive and friendly manner. The hours will be 30 per week, Monday to Friday, ideally the hours on a split shift basis of 7am to 9am and 2pm to 6pm, for 52 weeks per year including holiday entitlement, which must be taken during school holidays.
