Learning Support Assistants


Fixed Term Contract to 27th May 2022 (with possible extension)

Immediate start - subject to DBS and safer recruitment checks


Flexible Hours - maximum 30.75 per week, term time only (38 weeks per year)

Actual Annual Salary - starting from £12,559 (to include holiday entitlement)


We are looking to expand our successful LSA team and require up to 3 talented and dedicated team players to take up these key posts. The successful candidates will provide support for learners with EHC plans and work closely with our SENCo and Autism Hub Leader, offering support to a number of learners with autism and other learning needs both in the school and in our Autism Hub.

You will need:

  • Minimum of Grade C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (secure knowledge of Maths is particularly desirable).
  • Experience of one-to-one support with children with learning needs and autism, preferably in a secondary school.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the learning difficulties faced by youngsters with Special Educational Needs.
  • A willingness to learn every day as you consistently strive to increase your impact on our youngsters' learning.
