Job Description

We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic catering assistant to join our small, friendly kitchen team here at Gosbecks Primary School.

Daily tasks will include food preparation, cleaning, washing up and any other duties requested by the Catering Manager.

The ideal candidates will be:

· Enthusiastic, flexible & well organised

· Able to work on their own initiative

· Reliable, punctual and committed to being part of a team

Previous experience of working in a catering environment/kitchen is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. You should hold a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or be willing to gain this qualification.

Permanent, part time position starting as soon as possible.

Salary: Scale 1, Point 1

Hours: 10 hours per week, from 11.30am to 1.30pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time only (38 weeks + 5.1 weeks holiday)

Interviews to be held via Zoom.
