Kitchen Assistant - Hilltop Junior School


Hours: 15 per week
Start date:asap
Band: 1
Salary: £23,055 - £23,426 full time equivalent including fringe allowance (pro-rata). Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience.
Working pattern: Term time only plus inset days (39 weeks per year)




Hilltop Junior School in Wickford are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join their friendly catering team.

The successful applicant will:

  • Assist, as directed, with all aspects of the preparation of food and beverages to the standards required by the school;
  • Serve customers (pupils/staff/visitors) from the counter, trolley or kiosk;
  • Undertake all aspects of cleaning equipment (light and heavy), walls (up to 6ft), floors, fixtures and fittings, cooking utensils to name a few;
