This post is initially a fixed term contract until 31st August 2021 as it is a part of a job share. It has the potential to continue as a permanent role.
The ideal candidate will have a level 3 childcare qualification and experience of working in the Early Years. You will be a team player, flexible and adaptable and able to meet the children's needs. If you love working with very young and energetic children and being part of a supportive team of Early Years practitioners, we look forward to hearing from you.

Hours
Monday 8.15 - 4.30 as a key staff member (job share)
Tuesday 8.45 -4.00 covering for non-contact time
Attendance at staff training/ staff meeting on Tuesday from 4-5 PM will normally be expected and overtime will be paid for this.
44.5 weeks per year (39 weeks, term time, plus 5.5 weeks paid leave during school holidays increasing to 6.1 weeks with over 5 years service)
The above duties may vary to meet the changing demands of the school at the reasonable discretion of the Headteacher following discussion with the post holder.
Visits warmly welcome (currently outside of school hours due to COVID restrictions).
Start date of January 2021 although sooner if possible.

Woodcroft Nursery School is a maintained nursery school providing funded educational services for 2-5 year olds. Our dedicated and experienced team comprises of qualified teachers, nursery nurses and nursery practitioners. We have extensive indoor and outdoor facilities including Forest School. We offer a range of extended services including breakfast and after school clubs.
