Chase High School is a vibrant and inclusive 11-18 school, committed to providing high quality, all-round education for every student.
We are at an exciting time in our development and are seeking to appoint a qualified SENCO who believes that education has the power to transform the lives of young people and has the ability to inspire them to believe it for themselves. This appointment is a fixed term contract to cover the absence of our SENCO whilst on maternity leave.
The successful applicant will be based in our Learning Resource Base and will be required to enhance and support the learning of students who have a wide range of special educational needs. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Results have risen rapidly in recent years and the successful candidate will have the skills and enthusiasm to make a significant contribution to our continued improvement.

Chase High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Westcliff-on-Sea
, near Southend, Essex. It educates more than 1,000 students aged 11-18 from over 40 countries. Since 2011, the school has had a sixth form.
Chase High School was built more than 100 years ago and recently secured academy status under the Discovery Educational Trust. The secondary school continues to be involved in the community, forging local and international partnerships
