Southview School is a special needs school for students with Physical and Neurological Impairments together with learning disabilities. We are a highly suuportive school, friendly, positive and committed to doing our very best to enable our students to achieve all they can. We recognise that our team is essential in achieving this. We are seeking a teacher to work with our older students (14-19), being placed on our College site initially. You must be positive and motivated towards meeting our students' unique special needs. You will need plenty of enthusiasm, energy and resilience to contribute to our fantastic team.
We would prefer someone with teaching experience, particularly SEN experience, but we would consider applications from ECTs and we will fully support you in your role with a comprehensive training structure. We would also consider a part time, three days a week role. Our priority is appointing someone with the right personality and approach and with the skills and attributes that will support effective work here. We can help with the rest! You will need a good work ethic and the desire and ability to learn fast.
Start Date - September 2024.
