SITE MANAGER
Monday-Friday Split shifts (6.30-9.30am & 2.00-6.30pm)
Thurrock Pay Scale Pt 15-21
Actual Salary £24,444-£29,143
(Salary negotiable dependent on experience)
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, reliable, and self-motivated individual to undertake this key role within the school. The successful applicant will understand the aims and priorities of the school and take pride in the contribution they can make to achieving them. This role will involve a range of general caretaking tasks including general grounds and buildings maintenance, portage, general security and liaison with contractors and suppliers and maintaining health and safety across the site.
We are looking for someone who is:
· Friendly, approachable and a team player
· A good communicator
· Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage own workload
· Excellent at DIY and general maintenance
· Experienced and knowledgeable about health and safety regulations and procedures,
or willing to undertake training
· Able to take pride in the appearance and condition of our school, both internally and externally
· Flexible and adaptable
This is a full-time position with hours arranged in a split shift with an extended break in the middle of the day. You must be able and prepared to work some unsociable hours (including occasional alarm call outs).
Experience of a similar role within a school will be a significant advantage.
