Epsilon Star Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a highly dedicated Learning Mentor/SENCo Assistant to work across its two primary schools who has experience of working with children with challenging behaviour.

The Trust currently comprises of two primary schools; Kents Hill Junior School in Benfleet, Essex and Lubbins Park Primary Academy and Nursery which is also located in Essex. What a fantastic time to be part this newly founded Trust!

The successful candidate will assist in leading and managing the provision for pupils identified as having Special Educational Needs (SEN) and other vulnerable groups; including promoting high quality teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain a wealth of experience and knowledge in this particular field as well as working closely with the Trust's Executive SENCo in leading the provision in SEN and vulnerable groups.

Essential qualities:

- Level 2 or Higher Teaching Assistant qualification

- At least 2 years' experience of supporting SEN children in a Primary School setting

*Due to the role being across two schools, own transport is essential.*

Working hours: 08:00am - 4:00pm, Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week, term time plus non-pupil days (39 weeks per year).

Actual salary range: £15,866pa - £16,184pa.
