We are pleased to invite applications for our post of Key Stage One Phase Leader.

The role of our Phase Leaders is important to our children and to all of our school community. It brings with it some great opportunities to make a real difference to the lives of our children and some great opportunities for professional development and job satisfaction. We are very excited about this next step for our school. We are seeking to appoint someone who will help us to continue to build on the progress we have made in recent years and to play a key role in enabling us to achieve our vision of every child making great progress and thus attaining well in all areas of their development.

The role of our Phase Leader is set out in the attached job and person specification. Essentially it is to:

1. Be a brilliant teacher so children feel valued and learn well.

2. Lead and manage colleagues in the phase so that all children in the phase feel valued and learn well.

3. Be part of a teaching team and a senior leadership team that makes a positive difference.

We'd like the successful candidate to start in January but for the right person we're more than willing to wait until the start of the Summer term.

We are a primary school in a rural location just twenty minutes from Colchester and 10 mins from Clacton-on Sea. We are an academy with the Vines School Trust and so have the the support of this trust and the Diocese.
