We are looking for two highly motivated individuals to join our team of hardworking and dedicated Learning Support Assistants, who will work in partnership with our class teachers to support learning in line with the national curriculum, code of practice and school policies and procedures. They will preferably have experience of working with children with additional needs, particularly Autism, but this is not essential. The roles are for 25 hours and 16 hours 40 minutes per week.
The successful applicant will be required to:
Be committed to rising pupil achievement and making learning fun.
Have high expectations of all children.
Have a good sense of humour!
Assist in the delivery of differentiated teaching and learning
Prepare resources to support the needs of the child
Implement an Individual Learning Plan for the pupil
Work as part of a team under the direction of the class teacher & SENCO
Show initiative and flexibility
Have the ability to build effective relationships with staff and children
Have a good standard of English and Maths
Have a calm, observant and responsive approach
